Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia: Launching of water rockets at the Dhahran Ahliyah Schools
In the morning of Sunday, October 9, the Dhahran Ahliyah Schools hosted a water rockets launch event, organized in collaboration with the National Talent Training Center in Al-Khobar.
Doha, Qatar: World Space Week at the International School of London - Qatar
Throughout the October 4-10 period, all the 58 Grade 7 students of the International School of London - Qatar are involved in space-related projects, their work being presented to the community at the end of the World Space Week. The projects feature constellations, eclipses, the solar system, extraterrestrials and black holes. Other grades are doing experiments with parachutes and with rockets. The events are coordinated by Pilar Fernandez, Anne-Marie Kelly, Iara Lindeman and Tim Hughes - MYP team.

Dubai, UAE: World Space Week at the New World Private School
The New World Private School in Dubai (Tawar Area), in collaboration with the Dubai Astronomy Group, organized a three-day series of events dedicated to the World Space Week. The events took place between October 4-6, and consisted of a space and astronomy exhibition / gallery, a lecture, projection of space-themed movies, and hands-on activities for students of all ages.

Dubai, UAE: Space Stamps featured at EPA's Philately House
A rare exhibition of space stamps is among a host of activities marking World Space Week in the UAE. On the occasion of the WSW, the Emirates Philatelic Association is featuring a space stamps exhibition at the Philately House, No. 87 Al- Bastakia Heritage Area, Bur Dubai. The exhibition is open daily from 9am - 1pm & 4pm - 8pm.

On the occasion of the World Space Week, the Sharjah Science Museum featured planetarium shows ("Sharjah Sky", Sun – Thu: 12:00 PM, Fri and Sat: 6:00 PM), and astronomical observations by means of telescope (Fri and Sat at 7:15 PM).

Dubai, UAE: Spaceflight lecture and stargazing at Repton School
Wednesday, October 5, the Repton School Dubai will host, starting with 3:30 PM, a spaceflight lecture by Hasan Hariri, CEO of the Dubai Astronomy Group, followed by telescope observations of Jupiter and the Moon in the school grounds.
Al-Ain, UAE: Astrophotography
On October 6, members of the Emirates Photography Club will meet in Al-Ain and will try their hand at astrophotography. On the 11th of October, they will meet again to show the result of their work at "The Pavillion" in Dubai. The event is led by Lloyd de Jongh.
Al-Ain, UAE: Placing of space-themed geocaches
On October 7, starting with 4 AM, members of the Geocaching U.A.E group, led by Lloyd De Jongh, will place space-themed geocaches in Al-Ain. Geocaching is an outdoor sporting activity in which the participants use space technology (a Global Positioning System receiver) to hide and seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches", anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook where the geocacher enters the date they found it and signs it with their established code name. Larger containers such as plastic storage containers (tupperware or similar) or ammo boxes can also contain items for trading.
